About My Art

I was born and raised in Berlin and have always been drawn to the idea of freedom in all its forms. As a father and programmer, I’ve been painting freely and independently since 2000, working primarily with oil, acrylic, pastel, and charcoal. My time as a volunteer in Kosovo, where I witnessed the brutal reality of war, profoundly shaped my understanding of how fragile freedom can be. These experiences continue to inspire my artistic journey, pushing me to tell stories that protect and preserve these values. I deeply admire figures like Julian Assange, Elon Musk, and Pavel Durov — people who fight fearlessly for freedom, innovation, and the open flow of information. I'm also a long-time member of the artist collective Atelier 18, where I regularly collaborate and exhibit alongside fellow creatives.

Exhibitions

  • 2024: Selected for the Düsseldorf DA!Art Award and exhibited for one month at the City Museum of Düsseldorf. The theme of the exhibition was Check Your Dogma, and my nominated painting can be viewed here.

Mediums & Expression

I create art using oil, acrylic, pastel, and charcoal. Each medium allows a different depth of emotion, and I enjoy blending realism with raw expression. In addition to painting and drawing, I also craft sculptures from metal and wood — exploring form and structure in three dimensions.

Motivation & Vision

My artistic work is driven by a desire to explore and defend freedom. I believe art can amplify voices, raise awareness, and spark change — especially in the face of injustice.
