Xolution Germany GmbH is an innovative company specializing in reclosable beverage can technology. Their patented lids allow standard drink cans to be opened and securely closed again — offering a unique, practical solution in the packaging industry.
I redesigned and developed the company’s entire website, implementing it in WordPress and enriching it with animated video content to visually showcase their product innovation and functionality.
In addition to the web presence, I also supported Xolution directly in their industrial production process. I optimized vector files used for laser engraving the patented lid components — including for global brands such as Pepsi in the US. These engravings had to be executed with extreme precision and speed. By streamlining and reducing the vector paths, I was able to cut engraving time by crucial milliseconds, significantly increasing throughput during high-volume manufacturing.
Additionally, I developed a custom software solution for the sales department that logs real-time production data from the machines. The application provides visual dashboards accessible to staff, displaying hourly output, error rates, available inventory for sales, and projected production figures. This helped streamline communication between production and sales teams and provided valuable insights for forecasting and operational decisions.
The system was built using a MySQL bridge connected via LTE, with data handled through daily cronjobs. The web interface itself was developed using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
This combination of digital branding and production-level engineering highlights the value of interdisciplinary collaboration in modern industry.
